Since the company formation over 150 years ago, Wilkie has been committed to delivering the needs and wants of it’s customers customer. Wilkie has continually developed new materials to solve application-oriented problems for our customers and our customers’ customers. Wilkie is a global leader in industrial materials and technical textiles. Wilkie has strong roots in Scotland with two Factories in Kirriemuir and Forfar, as well as manufacturing facilities in Jiaxing, China and Lowell MA, United States.

Acquired business to allow us to expand capabilities into Airjet and Waterjet weaving to enter new lightweight technical markets. Acquired businesses in the UK and America to allow us to expand capabilities into Airjet and Waterjet weaving to enter new lightweight technical markets, and expand our coating capabilities and footprint into the American market
Wilkie China
Wilkie China was founded in 2007 as a strategic manufacturing base in Asia to assist the demand of our global customers, located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. We have developed our own spinning capabilities which allows us to produce spun yarns for the group, allowing us to be vertically integrated from fibre to finished material.
Wilkie America
Wilkie America was acquired in 2024 as a strategic fit to the business expanding our coating capabilities in the group and expanding our manufacturing footprint into America. The 5-station coating line with two-sided coating, and lamination allows us to work with a range of coatings such as Silicone, PU, PE, TPU, PVC and PTFE.
